JOYCE (Crystal Beach Motel) thanks again for your hospitality. Just like in October last year we could stay at your place. For my mom it was also easy, that she can talk Dutch to you. You are always trying to make it comfortable for your guests. From here it is just minutes to the NIAGARA FALLS, and you can also take the quiet old road to the FALLS, instead of the highway. My wife's family used to vacation there many years ago. It was under different owners then, and held fond memories for my wife. Her parents have since passed away, and the desire to stop back to see if the Motel is still there was fulfilled this past summer. We frequent the Crystal Beach area in the summer because of the beautiful beach and white sand, but it was our first time being there in the winter. Pristine and quiet, the driveway was cleared just for us and the snow was falling and it was beautiful. We dined at the Palmwood, which was 'open' in the winter, much to our surprise. All I had to do was order food from Papa's Pizza,a veggie, meat and fruit tray from Joe's Valu-Mart, a trip to the beer store and just show up. From here we made some daytrips to Toronto (CN-tower/skydome/Blue Jay's)and with the great advice from Joyce we even found the region where the Mannonites live. We enjoyed it so much that w'll be back again in september 2004!! Ron We have travelled a great deal and it is rare to find a place that feels just like home, but at your motel we found just that. The rooms are dutch clean and equiped to meet all of our needs. After Skiing the Friendship Trail we returned to a warm smile and great hospitality. We will definately be back, winter and summer to again be spoiled. Tony Wright I really enjoyed my stay at the Motel. I am looking forward to spending some more time with you. Joyce you are truly a beautiful person.....Keep up the good work..... hubbers family Great place! We had the chance to stay in a motel where hospitality is number one. The swimmingpool and garden are just great for the children to play, while mom and dad are enjoying a French Vanilla! We will return to this lovely area and surely will spend another great time with Joyce. els it's my 2nd home!!!!! Hans Moor We have been at Joyce's motel several times now and everytime we are taken aback by the wonderful hospitality of Joyce. Old world charm is not strange to Joyce and we hope to come back soon. We particularly liked the laid back BBQ evenings.
